The Italian company Nanni diesel was created in 1952 in Milan for the production of marine engines based on land diesel engines. Initially, the company adapted only Farymann models for the water area, but later, increasing its production capacity and engineering staff, Nanni diesel significantly expanded the range of its partners. So, in 1982, the company acquired the French production of Renault Marine, where it began to develop marine diesel engines based on Kubota and Mercedes engines.
In 1988, Nanni diesel became the official supplier of MAN marine diesel engines in France and French-speaking countries. Since 1991, Nanni diesel has been led by Amalia Festa, a woman who has had a significant influence on the development of the company.
The new millennium brought the company a signed contract with Toyota for the production of high-speed marine Nanni diesel engines based on Toyota engines. At the same time, active development of our own diesel generators is underway, which will be presented to the general public in 2009.
The partnership with John Deere, sealed by an agreement in 2014, allowed Nanni diesel to introduce an exclusive range of marine engines to the market with a power range from 10 to 760 hp. for Nanni engines and from 258 to 1 900 hp for MAN's diesel engines.
Today Nanni diesel occupies the 3rd position in the global ranking of manufacturers of stationary marine engines. In addition, Nanni diesel is the only manufacturer to supply a variety of marine diesel solutions at an enviable frequency, thanks to its unique NANNI COMPACT COOLING® adaptation technology.
