Not all colleges participate in each New Student Conference. When logging into the Applicant Information System (AIS) to accept your offer of admission and register for an NSC, dates shown are based on your college's participation and seats available. When all seats are filled, the NSC date is no longer shown as an option in AIS.
Day 1 will start at 7:45 a.m. and end around 5 p.m. Day 2 will start at 8:30 a.m., unless college/school communicated differently, with the student's academic college and end around 5 p.m. Please refer to the Sample Schedule below for a detailed overview of the NSC.
In addition to the Military Student Session of the New Student Conference, incoming Aggie Veterans (includes all current service members and veterans) are required to attend Vet Camp. This dedicated, Aggie Veteran-only experience is designed to help with the unique transitional needs of Aggie Veterans. These students will receive additional communication about Vet Camp from the Veteran Resource and Support Center. More information about services for military-affiliated students can be found at newaggie.tamu.edu/veteran.
Freshman and transfer dates are outlined below. Freshman NSC dates are only open to Freshman students and Transfer NSC dates are only open to transfer students.
All students must register in person on Day 2 of their NSC with their academic advisors. We advise that you plan your travel accordingly (i.e. if you are coming from out-of-state, we advise giving yourself a comfortable time cushion between the end of registration and departure time.)
